[REVIEW 2015] Kpopmart and BigBang Lightstick Ver. 4

My first blog post! So, Big Bang is one of my favorite bands and I wanted to buy some merch from them, so I decided to buy a lightstick being the weird kpop fan I am. 



Before ordering, I researched the best sites to order authentic kpop merch from. I eventually decided upon Kpopmart after reading many positive reviews about it. The things that I liked the most were the fast communication w/ customers (they have a tumblr and they respond quickly!) and the fact they email you pics of your order.

I placed my order right here on August 29. I chose the black color and the small package shipping option (this one has no tracking number). A few days later on September 1, I received two emails from Kpopmart confirming that my order was shipped. One of the emails contained two photos: the inside of the box (the light stick wrapped in bubble wrap) and the outside of the box (the shipping label). I absolutely LOVE how they send photos of your package!

I expected the package to arrive after maybe 2 weeks or more, but I ended up receiving it in less than 2 weeks since its shipping (the package came yesterday on September 12, 2 weeks since I placed my order).

The box was in an AMAZING condition. The only thing I've found so far was a tiny tear in the corner (but really, it doesn't matter to me). Inside the box were the light stick, two triple A batteries, the manual, and the wrist strap. The instruction manual is written in four languages: Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese.

The light stick has two modes to switch from: basic mode (the light stays on) and reaction mode (the light reacts to sounds in the environment). To change modes, you push the crown switch up or down. I didn't get a good video of reaction mode bc I didn't wanna blast BB from my computer @ 1 in the morning. 

The only con I have with this whole experience is the shipping. The price was a bit steep for me but I got over it. It was worth it for the kind of service you get with Kpopmart. I'll definitely be ordering from them again in the future!
